I cannot begin to tell you what an amazing weekend last weekend was! The United America Pageant means so much to me because it also represents family. It could not have been more special than to have been crowned with Skyler next to the stage and watching! I love how family is invited to pageant activities so that the contestants can experience all of the wonderful events with their loved ones.
From the moment I entered the Texas Pageant in 2009, I knew this group was something that I wanted to be a part of. As I have said so many times, it is much more than a pageant, it's almost like being a part of a lifetime group of supportive and caring friends. It's always so exciting to see everyone again, and how many pageants out there can say that they have so many of their former queens returning to every pageant to help out? You treat everyone like your own family and I know this means everything to the girls.
I am thrilled to be your new Ms. United America!!!! I am beginning my reign full of hope, excitement and happiness! Thank you for giving me, and all the girls, such a wonderful pageant to be a part of!

I hope you are taking some much deserved and needed rest!! If I am exhausted, I can't even imagine how tired you are!!
The pageant weekend was wonderful as always even though you had a couple of hiccups! It still all worked out in the end! Some things you just can not control!
I just wanted to let you know I already have two appearances set up for this weekend! Saturday I will judge a Cinderella Prelim and be at the Fall Festival that follows the pageant. On Sunday I will travel up to Greely and watch the Miss CO USA pageant. They allow banners! So I hope to get some neat pictures!! Teresa is going with me to the USA pageant! I have never seen one live. I am excited!
Keep resting!! I am SOOOO looking forward to this year!!! I still keep pinching myself to see if it REAL!!

Ms. Annette I just wanted to THANK YOU again for everything!!!!!!!!! I had the most amazing time!!!!!!! Everything was great! you worked so hard to get everything done and I appreciate it all!!!!! You are truly a special and gifted person!! I know from talking to several girls that everyone enjoyed it as much as I did! I can’t believe it’s really over and I am back to work! Lol! Tonight I was a guest of the Cove's dinner group. Everyone was so amazed by how beautiful my crown is. The husbands all sat back and watched while many of the women gathered around for a photo. I like this job!
